About me

I am proud to say that I am a 5th generation Colorado native! My ancestors came to Colorado in the 1860's from the east coast to seek their fortunes and never left! I was born and raised as Carrie Schayer in the Denver area and lived there until I moved to Boulder to attend the University of Colorado where I received my BA.

I have lived in the Kremmling area since 2001. I worked as the Executive Director for the Kremmling Area Chamber of Commerce from 2001-2004. It was a incredible job that exposed me to many members of the Kremmling community and educated me about the area. I organized some of Kremmling's major events such as the annual Wolford Ice Fishing Contest, Kremmling Days, the Roadkill Half Marathon & Dinner and the annual Chamber Banquet.

In 2004 I decided to get my real estate license and started my real estate career with Omni Real Estate. I absolutely love my job! I love meeting new people, marketing my listings and the Kremmling area and the challenging nature of real estate.

Currently I am the Board President of the Kremmling Chamber of Commerce, a board member of the Grand County Tourism Board, board member of the Grand County MLS Committee and member of the Leadership Committee for Omni Real Estate.

I was the top producing agent in the Kremmling area amongst ALL agents and companies in 2007, 2008 AND 2009! I have received many company awards including most transactions company-wide (3 times!), third top producer company-wide and second top producer company-wide. I am a member of the Grand and Summit County Board of Realtors, the Colorado Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
